I love holidays! Getting together with friends and family and having a good time is the greatest. The 4th of July has to be my favorite though. Patriotism, fireworks, hot dogs, pools, and people. All of my favorite things brought together in one day! I also love games! Python Printable Games showed me how much fun Independence Day can really be!

For review, I was able to get the 4th of July games. It's a printable packet of 20 games to celebrate the 4th with lots of fun! Once you have the games, they are yours to keep forever and you can print them as many times as you want! Which means, if your game gets destroyed, you just print another one and you are all set to play again!

Here are the games:

 Independence Day Mad Libs
 Patriotic Trivia match game
 Presidential Trivia game
 State Nicknames match game
Beers of the World placemat game

I obviously tried the games out a bit earlier for reviews sake. We had a blast challenging each other in the trivia games! My husband won in the military history trivia game. I wonder why? I'm saving the Red, White and Blue Scavenger Hunt for the 4th. The little one are very excited for it! I also can't wait to try the left-right game! I have some inexpensive little gifts to use in that one!

Python Printable games has other games too. They have baby shower games, birthday games, camping games and many many more! Also, if you join their mailing list, you can get free games today! Free is awesome!

Gearing Up for the Holidays: Peaceable Kingdom Press Review & Giveaway

Little ones are so easy to buy for when it comes to the holidays. They are happy with everything they get! My boys get especially happy with games! I know I loved board games as a child! Still do!

Peaceable Kingdom Press has lots of games for little ones! I received the Milk & Cookies Spin & Go Board Game for review.

About the game:

Details:

• Dr. Toy 100 Best Children's Products of 2008
• Ages 4-8
• 2-4 players
• Plays in 15 or 30 minutes
• Little reading required
• $15.99

Includes:

• 48 tiles
• 1 game board
• 1 spinner
• 4 cookie jar markers
• Instructions for 2 levels of play
• Box measures 6.5" x 8" x 2.5"

Learning Skills:

• Visual and spatial reasoning
• Taking turns
• Counting and colors
• Challenge version offers strategic thinking

How to Play:

To start, players open the board and lay out the tiles in any random way, leaving the center space open. Each player chooses a cookie jar marker and places it in the center of the board. Spin the spinner, mover your marker and collect a tile. Get a milk carton, go again! Collect and replace tiles until one player wins! For a more challenging game, set up the board the same way, only each player chooses 1 or 2 types of cookies to collect. It's a more complex version for kids 6+ who are ready for a bit of a challenge and don't mind if their cookie crumbles!

Why families love this game:

This game makes your mouth water! It's easy to learn and simple to play. There is little reading required so it's perfect for the youngest gamers yet it has a built-in challenge version so the game ages with the children. This game teaches quick color recognition, helps children learn to count and see directional moves of play which helps develop their spatial and visual reasoning. Not to mention, the game pieces are hardy and feel good in your hand! Milk & Cookies makes a great gift!

I played the game with my 4 year old. He is supposed to be in Head Start right now, but they are still trying to get the program going. This game is perfect for me to help him learn while he is waiting to start school. It took him a few turns to get the hang of it. But, once he got it, there was no stopping him! He beat me 9 -16! I was very amazed, and very proud!

He told me that he wants to play again and win again! He also wants to play with his older brother and teach him how to play! Oh, they grow up so fast! This game is a great learning game and I would recommend it!

Peaceable Kingdom Press sells many other games, as well as, stickers, gifts for toddlers, cards & stationary, and lost to do at the Kid's Corner! Got little ones at home? Want to give them some really neat gifts? Peaceable Kingdom Press can help you out!
