Pagan Cellar Jewelry Review & Giveaway

Back in 2010, I did a review for Pagan Cellar Jewelry. It is such a cute little shop that I emailed Bill, the owner, and asked if I could review for him again! I was thrilled when he wanted to! I knew I was going to have some super cute earrings coming my way to share with y'all!

To my surprise, he actually sent me THREE pairs of earrings! Now, I can coordinate a lot more outfits with his beautiful earrings!

Here is the first set I was sent to review! Aren't they fabulous!? I was getting compliments from my girlfriends as i was opening the package! I didn't even have them on yet! They are pink pearl with little silver hearts! When I wear them, I can't even tell they are there!

Here is the second pair. I am originally from Texas and a huge UT fan! These will go PERFECT with my UT shirts! Love it!

This is the third pair I received. I love them! I'm not used to wearing bigger earrings, but when I tried them on, I didn't want to take them off! They looked lovely with my skin tone and hair color! They weren't very heavy either!

Bill mainly focuses on vintage jewelry although he still does his hand made pieces. He does all eras and especially adores rings and cameos. That is the reason you will see lots of rings in his shop!

Bill has completely revamped his whole shop! He has much better pictures than he did two years ago. Plus, his inventory has grown! It's great to see someone being so successful! And the prices show! So affordable for the beautiful pieces! Ranging from $5-$250!

Once again, Bill is giving away a pair of his hand made earrings to one of my lucky readers! If you win, just give him a color and he will take it from there! I'm sure whatever he sends will be fabulous!

Gearing Up for the Holidays: Chasing Treasure Review & Giveaway

I remember as a child having a music box. It was white with pink on it. On the inside it had a ballerina that spun around when the music played. I would put all sorts of little things in it. Not just jewelry, but other things that I thought were important.

I don't have any little girls to get a ballerina music box. But, that's ok. Chasing Treasure actually makes music boxes for boys! I was so happy when I learned that! My youngest is a lot like me. Etsy Shop: Brittany Chavers Studio Review & Giveaway

I am SO glad I found Brittany Chavers Studio on Etsy! She has the most beautiful, most unique jewelry! I am so glad she picked something out for me to review, because I would have been there all day trying to decide!

Brittany sells b unique earrings, simple necklaces, b luxe necklaces, and rings, just to name a few! Anybody browsing through her shop is almost guaranteed to find something that fits their style!

I receive a beautiful Asymmetrical Vintage Pearl Rose Necklace! It reminds me of something you'd see a star wearing on TV. Maybe on the red carpet! Ten precious pink pearls lead up to a filigree with a pearlized vintage rose cabochon! This totally fits the definition on 'girly'!

Necklace measures 18” long with a toggle clasp and antique brass chain. Brittany can also add length to it for no extra charge! I absolutely adore this necklace! I had to hide it from both my sister and my boys! Yes, my boys are with only me too much, they like pretty things! lol

Here is my interview with Brittany:

ME: Where are you from and a little about yourself?

Brittany: I've lived in Ohio all of my life in a little town called Twinsburg. I currently live in Northfield, Ohio about twenty minutes south of Cleveland. I attended Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio and received my Associates of Individualized Study in Social Sciences and Art.

ME: When did you start making the items in your shop?

Brittany: I started making jewelry when I was much younger but stopped until 2009. When I needed a necklace for graduation from college, I wasn't very happy with the selection the stores in the area offered. (Nelsonville consists of one major Highway and a lot of national parks! The largest store around was a Kroger the size of a postage stamp!) After I FINALLY found a suitable necklace at Target, which was 45 miles away, I decided I should try to make my own jewelry so I would never be in the same situation again! Thus, Brittany Chavers Studio was born.

ME: How did you decide the name for your shop?

Brittany: Originally, I opened my shop for my photography. I wanted my photography to be sold under my real name, but I still haven't gotten around to listing any of it! I decided to have the shop for my jewelry instead. I added Studio to Brittany Chavers and I think it has a nice ring to it!

ME: What is your favorite thing about owning your shop and being a seller?

Brittany: I love the creative freedom of being an Etsy seller! It is so much fun to play around with a new idea, develop it and create something new with it. The fact that my awesome customers want to wear my jewelry is just an added bonus!!

ME: What inspires you to create such beautiful pieces?

Brittany: As you can tell from my shop, I love flowers! Well... maybe not real flowers- they attract too many bees! But I love floral designs and try to bring nature into my pieces. New and inventive products also go a long way in the inspiration process. Color inspires me as well; I love bright colors and I'm not afraid to use them!

ME: What is your favorite item in your shop and why?

Brittany: I think my favorite item changes every day! As of today, my favorite item is the Asymmetrical Turquoise Leather Rosette Necklace.. say that three times fast! I love the mix of textures and colors this necklace offers. The soft leather paired with the bold turquoise and delicate, porcelain beads just floats my boat!

ME: Is there anything new you plan to add to your shop?

Brittany: I am always creating new pieces for the shop! As you can see, I am OBSESSED with asymmetrical necklaces! I have many more in various stages of completion waiting to enter the shop.

ME: Anything else you would like to let us know?

Brittany: I love making custom pieces! if you have something specific in mind or if you see something in the shop that you like, but want different colors, just let me know! I am very convo friendly and I love working to make ideas reality!

Also, I am planning to expand into other areas... eventually :) I love photography, ceramics and scrapbooking and I can't wait to offer creations in those areas as well!

ME: Are there any other places on the net that we can find you?

Brittany:

BIG thanks to Brittany for such a wonderful interview, and such BEAUTIFUL pieces! I love this shop and would most definitely recommend to everybody!

Once I pulled the necklace out of the bag, I was thrilled with the choice I had made to pick that specific one. It fits my taste very well! It's very simple, yet very girly. The little stones on it are baby blue which can go with so much of what I own! The chain is also a great length.

Earring Holder Gallery Review & Giveaway

Don't you hate it when you KNOW you put BOTH earrings in your jewelery box, but the next time you go to put them on, they have magically disappeared!? I guess a jewelery box is like a dryer. You put a pair in, and only one come out!

I'm not exception. I've been losing earrings for years! That's why I went on the search to find something that would keep my earrings safe. Something that would make me want to buy more earrings! Then, BAM! Along comes Earring Holder Gallery! Uh huh, you bet I contacted them!

As soon as I saw the site, I knew that this would be the perfect item to review. I knew you guys would love to hear about! So, here I go...

First of all, I loved that I got to pick which one I wanted to review. There are so many pretty designs, it took me a while! I finally decided on the Green Zebra Dots. Once I picked the one I wanted, it only took a few days to get here. Very fast shipping!

Once I got it out of the package I was then abe to truely appreciate the work! All of Earring Holder Gallerys pieces are handcrafted. They are made right here in the USofA in beautiful North Carolina! I LOVE  product that are made in the USA!

My 7x10 earring holder will hold 20 to 35 pairs depending on the size of the earrings. That's a lot of earrings! I going to have to start shopping to fill it up! It would be full, but I'm not going to put my pairs with only one earring on it!

My earring hold came with 2 things. A versatile wire that becomes a stand when inserted into the bottom, or a wall hanger when wedged into the upper back corners of the frame. It was super easy to figure out, and it fit into the holes perfectly. I didn't have to force it. The second thing it came with was a Wire Thingy. Yes, that is the name of it! :) The Wire Thingy is used to hang Lever Back and Hoop Earrings. It makes them much easier to hang, instead of inserting those through the holes. Such a great idea!

Earring Holder Gallery has much more than just the 7x10 that I recieved. They also have 5x7 Earring Holders, 10" Jewelery Holders, Square Combo Holders, Mirror Combo Holders, Delux Combo Holders, Jewelry Cabinets, Monogram Earring Holders, Jewelry Sticks. They even have Beaded Hangers and extra Wire Thingys so you can BLING out your Earring Holder!

As you can see, they have something for every woman! They can satisfy all of your jewelry storing needs! Plus, it doesn't hurt that it's stylish! I guess you can call them 'Functional Artwork'! 2-in-1, I LOVE it! Overall, I'm totally in love with Earring Holder Gallery! The designs are beautiful, and the quality is amazing! You can just see the love that goes into each one!

Etsy Shop: Pagan Cellar Jewelry & Giveaway

Here lately, I have becoming more 'girly'. I've always been girly, just a little more simple. I've really gotten into jewelry. Usually I only wear one pair of earrings, and one necklace. Only changing every once in a while. I've now discovered that it's so much fun changing around jewelry! Yeah, yeah, I'm a little behind. Tell me something I don't know...

I ran across Pagan Cellar Jewelry on Etsy. Goodness! Such pretty pieces AND in my budget! Woohoo! LOVE it! I contacted the shop owner (Bill), and here I am writing up a well deserved review! I was send a very nice pair of earrings.

These are the earrings I got and me wearing them! They are very well made, and don't bother my ears at all. Plus, they are green which is my favoite color!

ME: Where are you from and a little about yourself?

Bill: I am from Chicago, IL. I make jewelry, soaps and greeting cards. But My biggest passion is Photography. www.facebook.com/billguestphoto

ME: When did you start making the items in your shop?

Bill: I have been making jewelry for over 5 years, I opened this shop on Etsy Oct 2008. I had my soap shop since 2007!

ME: How did you decide the name for your shop?

Bill: Well Its a carry over from my other shop www.pagancellar.etsy.com where I had various oils, soaps and also did tarot card readings. I kept the name because of the high number of sales I already had and the great feedback! I also carry a small section of pagan items like pendulums, I am a member of the paganteam as well.

ME: What is your favorite thing about owning your shop and being a seller?

Bill: The best thing is making and meeting new friends! I love hanging in the chats and chatting! I also love being my own boss and making and listing as i want and need to.

ME: What inspires you to create such beautiful pieces?
Bill: I watch alot of tv shows and see pieces I would love to try to emulate. Which colors are in style, who is wearing what shapes and colors. Whether its gold, silver or antiqued metals that are in right now, etc. I also get inspiration from the wide variety of Vintage pieces I own or sell. Vintage is in.

ME: What is your favorite item in your shop and why?

Bill: My brown beaded choker. This piece took a good amount of time to make, and I used some vintage pieces for inspiration. It reminds me of something worn in the Flapper days. I just adore it.

ME: Is there anything new you plan to add to your shop?

Bill: I am working more and more with Silver and making rings. I have a few rings but i want more. Everyone loves wearing rings and I think that is a new direction for me since I mostly do earrings, bracelets and necklaces.

ME: Anything else you would like to let us know?

Bill: That in addition to jewelry and vintage, I LOVE handmade soaps. that is how i got started with etsy and my shop will be full again soon. I just opened a Brick and mortar Boutique in my downtown area and alot of my items are there until i make more!

www.facebook.com/daisyscorner is my new place. I will never leave Etsy because it helped me to get where I am today!

ME: Are there any other places on the net we that we can find you?

Bill:  www.facebook.com/pagancellar
