Ruffles with Love Review & Giveaway

As I have told ya'll before, my husband and I have been working out this summer. It's been hard, but fun. I found a really cute Etsy shop that sell awesome workout shirts! The shop is called Ruffles with Love!

Ruffles with Love has a HUGE variety of shirts with different sayings on them. I had a hard time just choosing one to review. In the end I chose a black racerback that says "Sweat is sexy"! I love this shirt! Racerbacks are my favorite kinds of shirts to wear. Working out in them is to nice.

The shirt is very lightweight, so it breathes good. I love the lettering on the shirt because it's pink and sparkles. What girl doesn't like pink sparkles!? I also love the fact that on the back of the shirt there is a cute little pink bow. I didn't realize until I got the shirt that the bow is actually removable! That makes it great for washing!

Overall, I am very happy with Ruffles with Love! The shirts run between $22-26. I think that's a great deal for such cute shirts! The only thing I wish the shop had was a shirt that says "Coastie Wife". I saw a Navy Wife in there, and think it would be great to have a Coast Guard one in there too!

My husband and I have been working out a lot this summer. We've been going to the gym, working out here at home and also going on bike rides here on Cape Cod. Before we started I didn't have any workout gear. It had been a really long time since I had worked out! Luckily, I got to try out the new Zaggora Viva HotPants!

I can vouch! These things really make you sweat! The first time I wore them, I was in an air conditioned gym. At fist I didn't feel a difference. Then, I spent 20 mins running on the tredmill. Once I got off and sat down to lift a little wirght, I saw a little bit of sweat coming through the seams!

When we went on our bike ride, I also wore them. That day we biked 10 miles. We rode along the beach for a little while, it was beautiful! It was also a warm day. It didn't take long at all before I noticed the HotPants doing their job! They also made riding a bike more comfortable. There was no rubbing on the legs from peddling! 

When we got done with the ride and I took the HotPants off, I was soaked! I seriously had to change my underwear! They felt like they had just come out of the washer! I should have know that was going to happen. Before I took them off, there was sweat seeping from all the seams!

Needless to say, these HotPants really work! They have helped me lose a few pounds in the hardest places to lose the weight! I find the HotPants to be very comfortable. If you have ever worn a wet suit, the material is very similar to that. Also, a quick word of advice, make sure you aren't wet, or sweating when you put the HotPants on! It makes it very difficult!

After going through the majority of my twenties and having two kids, my body isn't what it used to be. I went from a size three to a size seven. That doesn't sound bad to a lot of people! I don't mind it all that much. It's just that my thighs, butt and hips aren't very...well, firm.

Muffin tops aren't the most flattering thing to wear! Same with saddle bags! Thankfully, ShaToBu is helping me out with that!

I received the waist to knee shaper for review. I couldn't wait to try it out! When I first put it on, I was surprised at how comfortable it was! I'm not a pantyhose kind of girl, and the shaper kind of feels like pantyhose a little. But, when I put them on, they weren't itchy like pantyhose.

Once I put my jeans on over them, I could see the difference they made in my figure. Everything was more sucked it and tight. No unruly bulges here and there. After I started walking around, I could really feel the resistance bands working.

It wasn't like it was hard to walk. I didn't feel like there was a restriction on my legs. There was just a little extra pull that isn't normally there. The next day I wasn't sore like I worked out. Such a nice way to workout! I didn't have to do anything that I don't normally do, and I wasn't sore! I can definitely get used to this!
