Flip flop are my life! I was sitting in the garage the other day with my husband and told him, 'I love whoever invented flip flops'! :) Goofy, I know, but it's the truth! I have gone through a lot of flip flops. When I find a pair I like, I will wear them until there are holes in the heels!

Needless to say, I was very happy when I learned that I was going to be reviewing for Sanuk! Sanuk has a huge selection of sandals and sidewalk surfers for men, women, and kids! The company was formed in '97 Jeff Kelley started making sandals out of inner tubes and indoor-outdoor carpet. They strive to make products that are as much about funk as they are about function.  Sanuk is the Thai word for fun! I love it! 


For my review I received the Yoga Mat flip flops. Ok, so I'm not saying this just for the review, or anything like that... I LOVE THESE FLIP FLOPS! They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! If you can't tell by the name, they are made out of real yoga mats!

I keep telling my husband how much I love them. I don't mean to say it over and over, I just can't help it! They are awesome! I am going to buy him a pair of Sanuks because I think he'd really love them. When I wear mine, I literally feel like I'm walking on clouds! They are so 'gushy'! 


Now that I have tried Sanuk's, there is no way that (for my good flip flops) I will go to anything else! I am utterly impressed with this company and the shoes. I REALLY want to buy my boys some of the Sidewalk Surfers! They are adorable!

If you have trouble finding a flip flop that you really love, I urge you to try Saunk's! I can almost guarantee that you won't be disappointed!

As I mentioned in my last review, I don't like using plastic water bottles. Use them once and then they go in the trash. Well, I found the solution in Vapur!

Vapur is a refillable water bottle that is super easy to transport! With plastic bottles, once they are empty, they are just a pain to carry around. Vapur has a nift little design that allows you to fold it, roll it, or flatten it once it's empty! That way, when you are done with it, you can easily just stick it in your pocket!

The Vapur has a carabiner that allows you to attach it the whatever you'd like. I attach my to the leash when I got out and walk the dogs! It's so handy! I don't even have to carry it!

There is also a place on the bottle that allows you to write your name on it! That's always a good thing when a lot of people are around. Want really cold water? The Vaur is freezable so you can stick it right in the freezer and get REALLY cold water! And the nice thing is, is that it's top rack safe in the dishwasher! I've already washed mine, and it came out perfectly clean and unharmed!

Vapur donates a portion of all proceeds to water-related environmental causes. The flexible bottles ship flat so they take nearly 90% less space and use less fuel to transport than rigid water bottles, and the packaging is printed using wind power on 100% post-consumer paper! It takes 9 trucks of rigid water bottles to deliver the same amount as one truck of Vapur bottles!


This is a great idea! I love being able to help my planet while simply drinking water out of a Vapur! It's the little things we do to help our planet that make the biggest impact!

I love drinking bottled water. It's easy and also tastes so much better than tap water! I WILL NOT drink tap water. To me, it tastes horrible! I remember drinking out of the water hose as a kid and for whatever reason, it didn't bother me then.

The only bad thing about drinking bottled water is that the bottle ends up in a landfill when you are done with it. That's not very settling. Then, I was introduced to ZeroWater!

ZeroWater is a filtration pitcher that filters all of the nasty tasting dissolved solids that are floating around in your water. I honestly didn't know what water could taste like, until I used this pitcher! Wow! It's even better than the purified bottled water that I'm so used to drinking!

With the ZeroWater pitch, I also received a TDS meter. TDS stands for total dissolved solids. It reads those solids in parts per million. Regular tap water usually read between 75 and 300, sometimes even higher. THAT'S why tap water doesn't taste very well.

Normal water filters are gravity fed. ZeroWater has a patented 5-stage ion-exchange filter. That makes it the only water filter to measure absolute 000 on the TDS meter! So, I think it's fairly clear that if you want great tasting water and don't want to help fill the landfill with plastic bottles, ZeroWater is the way to go!

I LOVE my pitcher! I fill it and drink it all the time. It's very easy to use. All you do is fill the top with water and the pitcher does the rest! It also has a nifty push button dispenser that makes it easy to use in the fridge!

The pitcher is only $35! Think of how much money you would save vs. buying bottled water! I am completely happy with this company and would recommend it!

It's bikini season! Even if you aren't wearing a bikini, I know you are wearing a lot less clothing than you normally do! It has been soooo hot here lately! That's why we've been spending so much time in the water at the lake!

When you have more skin showing, you want to make sure that that skin looks nice! Thankfully there is Scrubz! I wasn't actually sure what to expect when I learned that I was going to be reviewing Scrubz. I read some other reviews and everyone seemed to like it. I had never tried anything else like it.

Once I received it and opened it up, the first thing I noticed was the scent. I picked the April Showerz scent. It sounded really good, and WAS really good once I actually got a whiff of it! I almost don't want to try another scent next time because I like this one so much!

That evening when I took a shower I tried it for the first time. It was so easy to use! I just took a little out with the scoop that comes with it and rubbed it around wherever I wanted it! After you run it in, just rinse off and pat dry when you get out of the shower. It leaves a little bit of the oils on your skin to make it soft! I LOVED the way it made me skin feel!

Now, every time I'm feeling a little rough, I just rub some on in the shower. My skin is super soft and smelling very nice!
