Timmy Time follows the adventures of Timmy, a little lamb with a lot to learn as he enters preschool. Fans of Aardman's hit children's series Shaun the Sheep will recognize Timmy as the baby lamb on the farm who is frequently drawn into all kinds of chaotic adventures by the mischievous older sheep. Used to having his way by being "the only lamb in the flock", Timmy is now heading to preschool to graze on some important life lessons about playing nicely with others, namely his fellow classmates of the furry, feathered and spiky types.
I personally really enjoyed watching Timmy navigate his way through a day in preschool! It portrays obstacles and lessons that any preschooler would go through. It teaches children the right and wrong way to do things. I have a little one in Kindergarten and another starting preschool on Monday. They both sat there glued to the screen!
My oldest even came home from school this week saying that his teacher had been talking to them about Timmy. He wanted to watch Timmy as soon as he got home! It really is a brilliant show for the young'ins! There is also no human dialog in the show. Only animal sounds. With the expressions and actions of Timmy and his friends, you are never at a loss for what's going on.
Watch Timmy Time weekday mornings at 7/6c on Playhouse Disney! You don't want to miss it! The show is absolutely adorable!
