Couponing trip to Walgreens & Target

Ok, so I follow a lot of coupon blogs. I LOVE reading the things they post! It's amazing what they do! Getting a lot of stuff, but only spending a little, and sometimes none. Even making money! Well, I'm not that advanced yet, but I went to Target and Walgreens yesterday to try out my skills. I'm still far from where they are, but I was proud of myself!

My first stop was Target. I got a few extra things without coupons for my boys, but they were either cheap, or clearanced out.
2 GI Joe Action Figures- Originally $14.99 Clearanced- $7.48
Boys Polo Shirt- Originally $7.99 Clearanced- $1.98
Crest Kids Toothpaste- $1.49, Used $1 off Target coupon, paid $0.49
Revlon Lip Color- Originally $8.49 Clearanced- $2.12, Used $1off Target coupon, paid $1.12
Scooby Doo Bandaids- $1.82, Used $1 off Target coupon, paid $0.82
The slippers were just super cute so I had to get them! :) They were $2.50 each. So, before clearance and coupons (without tax) the total was $54.77. After savings was $24.37! I saved $30.40! Awesome!

Second stop was Walgreens. People have been posting that Olay has a $15 rebate going on so I wanted in on the action. Go here to get it before the 12th! Basically, you buy 3, send in the rebate, and get a check! Walgreens has Olay on sale this week for $3.33. Perfect! So, here it goes...

2 Olay body washes for $3.33 each

1 Oly in-shower body lotion for $4.49

$15 mail-in rebate= FREE!!

J&J wash- $4.49

J&J lotion- $2.99

J&J at Walgreens is BOGO 1/2 off this week, plus I had $1 off coupon from Coupons.com

2 bags of M&M's- $3.49 each. I had 2 coupons for a free bag from an instant win game back in October, so those were free as well. In the end, all I paid was $4.74!

I'm still on such a high from that experience! Can't wait to do some more! :) Thank you to all the coupon blogs I'm following that post these awesome deals! Keep it up, I'm listening! :)
